Climate Czar

Todd Stern! If you haven't read about this guy you need to. He is way out there. I think he taught Gore. He worked for the Clinton White House. He worked on the Billary campaign last year and she appoints him to this position (with No' Bama's approval) after she became Sec. of State. Here's the problem, he was chief negotiator for the Kyoto Protocol. If it wasn't for the '97 Senate we would have been screwed.

In case you don't know; according to the US Constitution, the Senate must approve all treaties. So in '97 by a vote of 95 to 0, the Senate put forth a bill that required all global warming treaties to read that all countries be treated equally. The Kyoto Treaty called for the US to reduce more CO2 emissions than any other country. It also gave countries like China and India a by for a certain amount of time. That's nice, let's penalize the US and no one else. Keep in mind not only was Stern the chief negotiator for this non sense but he also sold Billy C on it.

Let's look at the greenhouse gases that they are worried about, methane and co2. Where does methane come from? Most of it from livestock. Did you know that between Jan and Aug of this year the US exported 2.67 billion pounds of pork and 1.29 billion pounds of beef. I don't even want to try and find the poultry and egg exports. What people don't understand is that we feed the world with are greenhouse gases. CO2. Yes we produce a lot of carbon dioxide (CO2). Not all of it comes from our cars and power plants. I also don't want to start researching the amount of fruits and vegetables that we export but I'm sure it too, is in the billions. Think of all the farm equipment it takes to grow the vegetation and food for the live stock. Do we get credit for that? No. Would we have gotten credit for that under Kyoto? No. Will we get credit for that under No' Bama's cap and tax? No.

One of the things that G W tried to do when Kyoto finally went away was to rewrite it under the pretense that gave countries a "carbon footprint". We have millions and millions of acres of national forest that (this is in elementary science class) soak up CO2. That's right, plants intake CO2 and produce oxygen or O2. Not to mention all the food that we produce that does what? Suck up CO2!!!

Al Gore can run a $1200.00 a month electric bill but it's ok because his "carbon footprint" isn't that bad. He can plant a tree or buy some credits and everything is good. I just love No' Bama and his hordes. We are in a world of hurt.
